OUR STORY

Mary is the watercolor artist behind the everyday aesthetic of our beautiful cards and calendars. A love for illustration, travel and unique projects has fueled her creative venture as she takes inspiration from her many adventures, the garden, any pretty napkin, or new idea long the way. A self proclaimed “paper hoarder”, her studio is filled with scraps of color samples, pretty wrappers, and postcards. Mary’s attention to detail can be seen from her carefully selected paper to thoughtfully planned collections. Her hand painted designs bring delight through bold colors and little details from life.

Her business came to life after her college roommate signed her up for an entrepreneurship class the last semester of her senior year at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. All year she prepared artwork and displays for a booth at the college’s spring farmers’ market. It was then she hand painted her recognizable fruit & vegetable tapestry which she continues to use at local markets and pop-ups today.

Mary Thrailkill earned her BA from Berry College where she received the Troy/Gardner Endowed Award for her studies in Art History.
